November 27 PRAY-ers Post
Feel the weight on your own heart, the rapid double pace of your heartbeat for the last 9 hours, "OUR" Father You are here in this Hallowed Place, brought near by the blood sacrifice of Your one and only Son, Jesus, who dwells inside of us. This is what is good about "Good Friday", Resurrection Sunday comes next. Now "OUR" heart is settled back to it's regular rhythm, the threat of a worn out tired old heart is over for now. We don't have to struggle now that You are back in charge. What You do for us in You Kingdom rule, You can do for an entire Nation or the whole wide world. Please come and take control of those with worn out agendas to destroy Your Children. We are exhausted beneath their hand out that gives us nothing but trouble. Give us this day a breath of fresh air. Let us "BE" busy about Your business doing what would please You. Your plan for us to prosper and not be in debt, the weight of our greed and selfishness is on us and "OUR" children who have caught what we have taught them for too long. Give us the Word to settle the score against us. Help us to see beyond "OUR" faults and see forgiveness and cleansing from its evil that would so easily beset us. We need leadership that You can give to deliver us from this present world system. We can't keep pace with the deceiver anymore. We are looking for a way out to escape his judgement that brings down doom and gloom upon us. We have no other choice but to watch an wait, asking for Your help in these troubled times Yours is the Kingdom that gives us power to overcome and bring glory to Your name for doing it on "OUR" behalf. It is all about You! AMEN! ps. Help us to cough it up' get it off "OUR" chest, where we can breath again. We admit we're heading in the wrong direction causing all the commotion and congestion. It is a sin to lie against Your Spirit to change us. We will "DO" the right thing and trust You to work out so great salvation. After all it's Easter, time for Resurrection. If we are very still to watch and wait, we can listen to "OUR" heartbeat in our ear. If we remain silent we can hear Your whisper saying, "This is the way of Thanksgiving, we will walk in it." Many people have a general awareness of God’s Law as it is expressed in the Ten Commandments, and since they have not murdered anyone or committed adultery, they feel that they have kept the Law as much as is humanly possible. However, we must all admit to telling at least one lie, and James made this statement: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10). So often we acknowledge that we have broken God’s Law, and take refuge in the teaching that Christ came to do away with the Law. However, Jesus said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17). There are three primary ways in which Jesus fulfilled God’s Law. First, He fulfilled all the prophecies and analogies in the Law that related to Him. He is the spotless Lamb of God (see John 1:29), and He was “a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3). Second, He perfectly fulfilled all the regulations and requirements of the Law. When the Pharisees accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath by healing a man, He pointed out a statute in the Law that allowed them to pull an ox out of the ditch on the Sabbath. Third, He fully satisfied God’s requirement for the penalty of sin. Because man sinned, blood had to be shed: “…Without shedding of blood is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22). The perfect and complete fulfillment of God’s Law has great significance for us. When a person becomes a believer, he enters into Christ and becomes one with all that Christ did—including the perfect fulfillment of God’s Law. (See Romans 7:4–7.) Being “in Christ” through salvation means that when He died, we died with Him. When He was buried, we were buried with Him, and when He rose up from the grave, we rose with Him! (See Romans 6:4 and Colossians 2:12.) Therefore, God’s requirement of holy perfection in order to enter heaven was met by every believer at salvation. We are now perfect in Him. (See Colossians 2:10.) Let us recognize our willful violation of God’s holy Law and affirm or reaffirm our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and our acceptance of His perfect life, death, and resurrection. Salvation came to the publican when he cried out, “God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13). Have you cried out with such a prayer? Through Christ our Lord, Bill Gothard November 26 PRAY-ers Post
"OUR" Father, by those who oppose themselves to the truth of who truly can help them now during these troubled times.
They are yet to believe and the very temptations they seek to escape may "BE" the very thing that to bring them to their senses.
Can we see as You do, "down the pike", beyond their often repeated phrases, "I believe. . .", "I think. . .", or "We gotta do. . ." coming in their appointed time to "BE" also Your child?
We watch and wait with anticipation for Your name to "BE" Hallowed when we are all together in Your family, "Your Kingdom Come", doing what is pleasing to You.
Your gifts that we now see in Your Word, Your plan, for us, are just a glimpse into "OUR" future out of the trespasses, sins, or debts, we owe You and each other during times of dis-belief.
There seems not to "BE" any leadership to get us out of this present darkness.
You are "OUR" only hope to "BE" delivered from evil.
We have tried everything else and have failed. Those things are still just ideas and agendas of those who walk in darkness trying to avoid admitting their mistakes to trust You instead opposing Your Kingdom, power and glory, which are everlasting.
"We worship You Almighty God, there is none like You." |
